August 16, 2008-
10th Annual Farmstead Poker Run
From the
start of our event in 1999 with 40 bikes, raising about $1,300
to 2007 with nearly 500 riders raising over $13,000, our goal
has been to have fun riding with friends and raise money for
Hospice of Knox County. In a small way, insuring that when
families need the services Hospice provides, they will be there.
Everyone is invited to take part in our event held the 3rd
Saturday of August every year at our home. The event starts with
a 100 mi ride followed by food, bike games and an auction. We
also have a live band and plenty of room to camp. We would like
to invite you to come out, have fun and help insure Hospice will
continue to serve those in need.
